This is a small, family run hotel, right on the beach. Great wine.
The hotel has been in the family of Andrea Poggi for several hundred years.
The building is well situated, with fantastic views along the coast.
The restaurant is closed but they still do bed and breakfast. There are many restaurants in the area.

The hotel is located right on the main street that runs
along the beach. Exit the Train Station and turn right (North). Walk
one block, the La Spiaggia Hotel is located right
on the corner. Look for the sign above. Monterosso al Mare has the best beach in the Cinque Terre
and is convenient for walking the trails between the 5 towns or visiting
other nearby areas. Day trips to Genova, Pisa, La Spezia, Lucca, Levanto and even Florence are possible
because of the frequent train connections. Monterosso al Mare is the largest
of the 5 towns.
